House Clearance

Here at John Ryder, we are no stranger to clearing properties. Making us very aware of what a difficult but delicate task it can sometimes be, which is why we take it very seriously.
Whether you have lost a loved one and need a full probate valuation or you just need to reduce your possessions ready for your upcoming downsizing removal.

House Clearance

How it works
Firstly, give the office a call or complete an enquiry form. This will then be followed by a pre-arranged home visit to discuss your house clearance further. There’s a number of ways we can complete this which we tailor around your needs giving you the experienced advice we have picked up over the decades.

We start the process by discussing what will be saleable at auction, whether a skip is needed and a rough time scale of how long it will take. Once everything has been agreed, we then get the dates booked in for you, skips ordered and start the clearing process. We start by packing everything up, all saleable will be sorted into boxes and skips will be filled. You will then be invoiced on completion of the job. Following the auction, all proceeds from auction will be sent to you via cheque or bank transfer.

Some situations come around when you would rather get rid of the belongings without the cost, so if there is enough value at the property, we may offer you a price to clear everything and we keep all proceeds from sale. Whatever route you choose, we will be with you every step of the way.
